AURAL LATRINALIA: The Bathroom Show

Local, untethered curatorial collective, Near*By is bringing the least likely kind of art into the least likeliest of locations: sound art in restrooms.

Connecting sound artists with local arts institutions, participating organizations include 21c, The Art Academy of Cincinnati, The Carnegie Performing Arts Center, The Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center, Wave Pool Gallery, and the Weston Art Gallery. Artists include Richard Bitting, Intermedio, Jennifer Jolley, Numediacy, Sayak Shome and Jarrod Welling-Cann

Aural Latrinalia’s opening reception will take place at the Weston on Saturday September 24^thfrom 6 – 8 PM, and the work will remain at each location for duration of 4-6 weeks.
